|In March 2005 Loony Design was awarded the 2nd prize "Gut in Form" at the artist's workshop trade fair in Offenbach. This prize is awarded annually by the Federal Association of Workshops for People with Disabilities.|

|On 28.12.2005 Loony-Design was the recipient of the first Innovatio-Sozialpreis in Berlin. The €13,000 prize is awarded by the Brudehilfe Pax Versicherung every two years for outstanding charitable activities. The company was particularly praised for creating jobs for people with mental disorders and its inclusive approach that brought them together with students from the Academy.|
|With financial support from the Robert Bosch Foundation, Loony-Design receives consultancy advice from the Senior-Expert-Service in the areas of quality management and business administration.|
|Loony-Design exhibits at the Inventa consumer fair in Karlsruhe.|
|Loony-Design products are presented at the New York International Gift Fair by a German sales partner.|
|Loony-Design receives the special prize awarded by the German Chancellor in the national competition startsocial.|
|Loony-Design is awarded the Werkbundlabel 2008.|
|In November 2005 avedition published the Messedesign-Jahrbuch 2005/2006 in which Loony-Design's exhibition stand was featured in a four page layout. Loony-Design's stand, which measured only 12 m2, was featured alongside global companies such as BMW, Maybach, Heidelberger, Bayer, e-plus, Kodak, Smart and others, all of which had stands measuring between 600 and 1,000 m2.|
|In May 2005 Loony-Design sent a mail shot to over 80 museum shops in Germany and Austria. What made this mail shot stand out were the envelopes, which all featured individually created designs by a graffiti artist from Karlsruhe.|

14.12.2005: The Frankfurter Rundschau newspaper ran an in-depth piece on the Innovatio-Sozialpreis.
22.12.2005: Spiegel-Online profiled Loony-Design including a photo spread with twelve pictures.
